Finally, An “About Us” Page

We finally got around to making an "About Us" page. Many of you know us, and it'll be a bunch of details you already know, but for those who are new (or newish) to this blog and wonder who the heck we are, there's some more info over there on the right side of the page now, underneath the link to the tour of our trailer. You know, in case anyone cares. πŸ™‚

  1. I care…it was fun getting to know you outside of your fun adventures and great decorating style πŸ˜‰ My husband is also an electrical engineer in the EDA business here in Portland.

And, Laura, LOVE your gritty photographic style! Much talent!

What a wonderful life…would love to work and travel the way you two do…maybe someday πŸ™‚

  2. Thank you so much Kim!! Let’s really try to meet one of these days!

What company does Todd work for? Mentor? Synopsys? Cadence? A different one? Now we’re curious! πŸ™‚ -L

  3. Small world! Todd worked for Mentor right out of college (5 years) and has been at Synopsys now for 16 years – He works on the Formal Verification tool.

We’ll have to meet up this summer…fun getting to know others in the local area πŸ™‚

  4. Kevin was with Mentor for 15 years…until we started our publication almost 9 years ago now. (He just said to ask if Todd will be at DAC in SF next week…Kevin’s moderating a round table discussion on formal verification on Monday.) πŸ™‚

  5. Todd’s in the bay area next week for customer visits I think. I just sent this thread to him and he thinks he recognizes Kevin. He started at Mentor in 89 and worked in the QA and then SimView teams. His local team at Synopsys are almost all former Mentor employees. It’s a small world πŸ™‚

  6. Yes, small world for sure. Kevin started at Mentor in 88 and worked (back then) in the NetEd and Design Architect groups. They would certainly have run into each other. Anyway, fun!
