I really like this salt and pepper set. On sale at One Kings Lane on sale for $45 (not on sale for $73 at amazon).
We still really love our set of Vic Firth Pump & Grind Salt & Pepper shakers, so we won't be replacing them any time soon.
However, we mainly use these on the table, and I have some stock Trader Joe's salt & pepper mills in the little bamboo box next to the stove to use when I'm cooking (see them here on the left). They have lids you have to take off before grinding and I'm constantly dropping the lids and looking for them (they're clear, and I'm clutzy sometimes when I'm cooking). I just found these Twin Dual Salt & Pepper shakers by Bodum and quickly snapped up an orange one (ebay). Refillable, takes one spot up rather than two, and, well: orange! You just twist the top to switch between salt and pepper.
