<p>This conversion consisted of swapping the front and back ceiling-mounted holders so the pole end could slide in and the lamp end could &quot;click&quot; in, and cutting back some of the gripping foam to accommodate the thickness of the bamboo stems. Now, they lock in perfectly. Too bad they can&#39;t also charge from the back window while we&#39;re driving!</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;">*<em>(It&#39;s not that we don&#39;t also like fishing&#8230;it&#39;s just that our fishing poles are telescopic and we keep them in a compartment in the Hobie, so we don&#39;t need the long pole accommodation.)</em></p>
