We successfully converted the fishing pole racks in the back of our truck into racks that will now hold our solar tiki torches.
As it should be.
This conversion consisted of swapping the front and back ceiling-mounted holders so the pole end could slide in and the lamp end could "click" in, and cutting back some of the gripping foam to accommodate the thickness of the bamboo stems. Now, they lock in perfectly. Too bad they can't also charge from the back window while we're driving!
*(It's not that we don't also like fishing…it's just that our fishing poles are telescopic and we keep them in a compartment in the Hobie, so we don't need the long pole accommodation.)
