										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Yesterday morning we heard Thomas Dolby&#39;s keynote at Design West (the tech conference we&#39;re at in San Jose this week). He talked about the history of his interest in electronic music, he showed his process for recording (and demonstrated live, several times&#8230;a mini concert!) and showed tons of photos, including these shots of his home recording studio (on the coast of England). It&#39;s an old 1930s lifeboat he found on ebay and it&#39;s powered by both solar and wind.</p>
