<p>After the blueberry farm we headed over to the <strong><a href="https://owenroe.com/" target="_blank">Owen Roe</a></strong> winery, right across the street from where we&#39;re staying at&#0160;<strong><a href="http://www.oregonstateparks.org/index.cfm?do=parkPage.dsp_parkPage&amp;parkId=79" target="_blank">Champoeg Park</a></strong>. I called this morning to see if we could get a tasting appointment today sometime and they had an opening at 1pm.&#0160;</p>

<p>They don&#39;t have a formal tasting room here, but it&#39;s nice hanging out in the cool room with the barrels chatting with the employees as you taste. We brought home a couple of bottles and joined the wine club (since it&#39;s close and we&#39;re here often). (Also, our friends Scott and Cyle are members, so maybe we&#39;ll get to see them at events! Hi guys!) Our favorite of what we tasted we think was the&#0160;<strong><a href="https://owenroe.com/owen-roe-wines/buy-wines/buy-wines/introducing-2010-red-willow-vineyard/" target="_blank">2010 Red Willow Vineyard</a>. </strong>Also, the<strong> <a href="https://owenroe.com/owen-roe-wines/buy-wines/buy-wines/2011-syrah-union-gap-vineyard/" target="_blank">2011 Union Gap Syrah</a></strong>.&#0160;Good stuff.</p>
