Our next stop will be hiking the waterfalls at Silver Falls State Park. The last time we were there it looked like this:
It was actually quite lovely and we had fun cooking BBQ in the snow. I'm hoping for some hiking weather this time though, so we can do the longer (8.7 mile) Trail of Ten Falls hike.
Hi—long time no hear from each other!!!! That trail looks fantastic!!! Curious—why does it say not backpackable?? Have fun!!!

Hi Richard! The trail is gorgeous! I’m thinking the low ceilings under rocky overhangs as you walk behind the waterfalls might be the reason for the non-backpackable rating.
