Okay the torches have arrived. Here’s my review after early testing (in the living room):
- Very well made. The polycarbonate is solid and feels and looks good.
- Flicker is good. I’ve seen more realistic flicker, but this flicker isn’t annoying or annoyingly bad. They’ll be rockin’ our campsites just fine.
- They sense when they’re in the light and turn off of course.
- The batteries are rechargeable AA NiCads so when they eventually wear out, they’re replaceable.
So far, love ’em! We’ll see how they do on the road.
