Just another ship passing our quiet spot on the Columbia.
We've had a mellow day: some work, some sailing, more visiting with my mom before she headed home, and a trip into Cathlamet to grab a few things from the market. I made breakfast this morning for everyone: a thick slice of tomato topped with steamed spinach, lox, a poached egg, then finished with a little hollandaise sauce. (I know, lame, no photos.) Dinner tonight will be tenderloins with truffle butter, sautéed green beans, and a caesar salad with some freshly shaved parmesan.
