Skamokawa means "smoke on the water" and we woke up this morning to just that. Well, okay it was fog, but still….it was gorgeous. The shipping channel is so close to the shore that it gives you a fantastic view of the huge (and surprisingly fast-moving) vessels.
The sunsets here have been amazing.

I took a drive to Stewart Stubs State park. It is worth going to. It is off Hwy 26 out of Hillsboro.
