<p>We ordered an appetizer of conch fritters because you know, look where we are! However, <strong><a href="http://www.miamiherald.com/2012/10/01/3028719/next-on-endangered-list-conch.html" target="_blank">according to this recent article in the Miami Herald</a></strong>, a&#0160;federal endangered-species study of the mollusk is going on right now and could mean the days of conch fritters are numbered. Glad I tried &#39;em&#8230;they were good!</p>
