<p>We passed this place without even looking, figuring we wanted to check out <strong><a href="http://www.nps.gov/olym/planyourvisit/visiting-kalaloch-and-ruby-beach.htm" target="_blank">Kalaloch</a></strong> first, which we did. I kinda had a feeling we&#39;d like this place better, and I was right. There were tons of spots open at <strong><a href="http://www.nps.gov/olym/planyourvisit/visiting-kalaloch-and-ruby-beach.htm" target="_blank">Kalaloch</a>&#0160;</strong>and it&#39;s beautiful,&#0160;but the campground at <strong><a href="http://www.allolympicpark.com/park_campgrounds/south_beach_campground.php" target="_blank">South Beach</a></strong> is WAY more up our alley. Gorgeous open spots right on the water&#8230;not crowded at all&#8230;ten bucks a night. No hookups&#8230;just a fire ring and a picnic table, but plenty of sun and an incredible view all around. I think if we were tent camping it&#39;d be nice to have a more private spot at Kalaloch, but with an Airstream, this is pretty awesome.</p>
<p>We&#39;ve got 3 bars of Edge on AT&amp;T, and we&#39;ve got good Verizon data service, so we may stay more than the one night we&#39;d planned.&#0160;</p>
