This crow took advantage of the windy day in Anacortes today. As the neighboring boat’s anemometer spun around fast in the wind, the crow would lean in and let it scratch his neck and shoulder. I love the crafty crows!
We are back on Airship now after a very nice holiday at home in Portland with family. Originally we’d planned to head north to the Gulf Islands this morning with Sam on Safe Harbour, but the wind was whippin’ so we decided that tomorrow would be a nicer ride. We hope to get to Princess Louisa by New Year’s Eve, but it might be New Year’s Day. No matter. We are happy to be on the water and can celebrate anywhere.
