Overall I&#039;ve been very disappointed in the  direction that they&#039;ve gone with their boats tending more towards the &quot;cocktail yacht&quot; sort of design rather than a great, traditional cruising boat. One article I read said &quot;they&#039;ve forgotten who they are.&quot; It was my intention to buy a NT54 from the day I first bought my NT42. But, when it finally came off the line I was SO disappointed with the design that I haven&#039;t been able to get past it. They&#039;ve only sold 9 of those boats and by comparison the direct competitor, Selene 53, has sold well over 100 boats. I think the market agrees with me on this issue. I would certainly give a ringing endorsement of the NT42, particularly the older ones. I consider it the best boat in their line. Hopefully we&#039;ll catch up near Juneau and i&#039;ll give you a tour of our boat and outline the features that I feel make it such a great cruising boat. Btw, there are some great deals to be had on used ones still. Ours is a 1998 and there is a 1999 in yacht world in Florida for $235k!! At that price would be worth shipping it (about $10k).]]></description>
