Kevin: This martini tastes kinda funny (after a couple of sips).
Me: (I taste it, and OMG it tastes JUST like the dish soap smells.)
Me: How could you even take a second sip of that??? (I clean glass, remake martini.)
Which reminds me of the time I was 8 and said the F-word and my mom made me sip and swish around some Ivory soap mixed in a glass of water. To this day, the smell of Ivory soap makes the back of my throat tighten up. (I still say the F-word sometimes though.) 🙂

]]>Jack of Hearts Cafe in Weaverville, NC, just outside of Asheville, NC.
The batter was fried dark brown, very crisp and tasty. The cod was thick, flaky, and delicious. It was so good that 2 weeks later my wife and daughter went back there to have some more. It was HORRIBLE! It had a taste of soap. They sent it back and were later told that the chef tasted it and agreed and withdrew it from the menu for that day. C’est la vie.
