More than once we&#039;ve camped on the shore of some remote, beautiful lake with nothing but what we brought in the Airstream for 10-12 days. We love it. We have mad skills, actually, and we use them often.  :)  (I think we&#039;re headed to Big Bend in a few weeks, too!]]></description>

					<description><![CDATA[I&#039;m glad you are practicing boondocking.  I run into so many people who are afraid to try it, and as a result stay only in full hookup sites with pull-throughs.  You miss out on a lot of great camping if you can&#039;t conserve.  Plus, going where the hookups aren&#039;t available means less crowds, more privacy, more peace.  Now take those new skills to Big Bend National Park or some other spot like that and have an awesome time!]]></description>

Yes, we used the showers and toilets in the Airstream exclusively.  We have gotten very good at water conservation.  We can both take showers and we drop the fresh water by about 1/8 total.  We can wash dishes with very little water.  We use an Oxygenics shower head that feels like more water while using less.
