El Azteca Taqueria SF

I drove into the city and picked Kevin up tonight from Moscone Center. I did a little bit of quick research earlier to see if there was some good Mexican food near us and found a place with good reviews. We decided to check it out for dinner on the way back to the Compound.

We hardly ever seem to take food photos until the food is mostly gone:

The food was SO good. We had prawns and chicken and carne asada. We took quite a bit home (carne asada and eggs for breakfast!) but everything was delicious and freshly prepared to order. And — Mexican Coca-Cola!

There's some cool artwork inside: conventional paintings as well as this giant mural on one wall:

I like this shot of Kevin, trying not to look as brain-fried as he feels after an entire day of meetings and briefings and lunches and business:

We got back to the trailer after dinner and I poured us some wine (Opolo, Fusion, 2009) and rubbed his feet for a while and I think he's pretty happy now.

He's got one more meeting in the morning tomorrow so I'll drive him into the city, stop and get some groceries, and then have us all hitched up and ready to go so that when he arrives in the cab we can hightail it outta here. Not that I don't like San Francisco…just not…well…this way.
