We went to check out this park about 15 miles from Champoeg to see how it might be for Kevin to do some FPV flying with his hexacopter: Molalla River State Park near Canby, Oregon. It's a day-use only park with no overnight camping, but perfect for hanging out and other park-like activities.
The drive out there was gorgeous and a perfect example of spring in Oregon.
The park sits right along the Molalla River:
There's PLENTY of room for some great FPV flying. We'll be back when it's not quite so windy.
