We're camped at Devil's Lake State Park in Lincoln City, Oregon. Today we rented a little fishing boat because we heard there were tons of big rainbow trout in Devil's Lake. We picked up my mom and Pirate at the campground dock and had a lovely, relaxing time out on the lake, but alas, no fish. So for dinner we made bison burgers with blue cheese, mushrooms and frizzled leeks, a side of truffled sweet potato fries, and champagne. I made an angel food cake in the Airstream oven and served it with strawberries and vanilla whipped cream for dessert. Happy belated Birthday mom!
