Airstream Style

Here's a quick picture of how the inside of the trailer is shaping up:

Interior

Originally I was apprehensive about this much dark wood and brown, so before reupholstering the cushions, I thought I'd see what I could do with accessories first. I found this great George Nelson Ball Clock reproduction:

From Chiasso we got this cool key holder for just inside the front door:

Couple of pillows from Target:

We ordered these cool little plastic frames in the shape of polaroids (from Photojojo) and put some of our old travel photos in them…not much room for art but there was a perfect spot in the bathroom for these:

We found this PERFECT Airstream mirror for the bedroom at Ikea for 19.99:

We are managing to cover up a lot of the brown!  Also from Ikea these hooks that fold up when not being used (great for hanging your towel or clothes while you're in the shower) as well as a couple round rugs for bath and kitchen:

And transferred from our old trailer, our compact Nespresso machine and our Home Sweet Home screen guard we originally bought from David at Vintage Trailering when we got our first Airstream.  They've been out of stock for some time, but when I just checked, looks like he's got 'em again.  Highly recommended.
